The first real storm of the summer is up on us as I write this post. The rain is coming down heavily, the lightning is flashing like a camera, and the thunder is booming.
Times like these remind me how great God is and powerful God is.
I look at storms as God's way of reminding us how mighty God is: storms sometimes scare us, and yet we're awed by the beauty of lightning and the loudness of the thunder.
Just as we are sometimes afraid of God, so are we awed by how mighty and wonderful he is.
