He would be taller than me {this is negotiable, of course}
He'd have strong arms {for holding me when I'm scared/sad/tired}
He'd call me dear {and sing this song to me}

He'd have sharp hearing {for when the tea kettle whistles}

He'd call me dear {and sing this song to me}

He'd have sharp hearing {for when the tea kettle whistles}

He'd dance like me {aka, complete and utter lack of coordination}

He'd love all my favorite movies {and be able to quote them with me}
He'd play guitar {and be able to teach me}

He'd enjoy rainy days {spent inside, watching movies}

He'd love visiting London{and pretty much anywhere else in the world}

He'd be my best friend {and have a special smile just for me}

and,
He'd be a man of God {non-negotiable}
I'm past making lists of what exactly my Guy will be like....but I figured I could make one of what I'd like him to be like. And even if he doesn't tick any of these boxes, he'll still be wonderful to me. After all, God doesn't make any typos with love stories. *dreamy smile*
love always,
~Lily

p.s. He's just out there! You'll meet him and ohh dear dear lily, you'd be perfect for each other!
Your love for God and candid writing style is refreshing! :-) I just came across your blog today and I thought this post was really sweet. I am glad you realize though that your future spouse may not be an exact copy of your wish list. Dating, love and eventually marriage are all very special times in life but it is not a complete fairy tale because, well, life isn't perfect.
Enjoy the time of your life right now! Take guitar lessons! Then if he plays already you can play together or if he doesn't play, maybe you will be able to teach him! ;-) If you have the opportunity, travel! You may not have the chance later in life, because things happen & you may not think so now, but it is easier as a single young person then when you have all the bills, work restrictions (limited #of days off), lack of time, etc. that comes with marriage. Then when you are married if you have the chance to travel, that will be awesome! But if you can't then you won't have regrets.
Anyways, just some advice from someone who has been there :-) Live fully as a single young lady so you can truly enjoy living fully if or when you are married! :-) Have an awesome weekend! God bless! :-)
