Okay, before my actual post...I have some news!!!!!!! I will be getting my braces off March 28th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my word, you have no idea how happy I am!!!! We went to the orthodontist yesterday, and my doctor was poking around, doing his stuff. He sits back, peels off his gloves, and says, "Well, we'll see you back in six weeks {my usual time} and we'll take off your braces!" He said it so calmly, and then he just walked off! I sat there, my mom squealed, and the hygienist was like, "Ooooh, congratulations!!!!!!!"
*happy sigh* So yeah, I'm super duper excited.
Day Fifteen: A person you admire
Today, it took me a while before I actually made the decision. I wasn't sure exactly how to write this post....but I think I finally decided to just write a letter to that person.
For most of you, this post won't make very much sense....but this is my person I admire: my composition/French teacher, Mrs. Suder.
Dear Mrs. Suder,
I don't know if you'll ever read this letter, or realize how much your teaching has meant to me. You were the best Sunday School teacher I ever had, and now you are my most favorite teacher. You, my dear Mrs. Suder, are the reason I dream of becoming an English teacher. You've shown me what joys lie in reading literature and actually understanding it!!!! You've taught me how to write well, and even if I don't always exhibit the best work.....well, you understand. (:
Because of you, I want to enter the school system and show teenagers that writing and reading can truly be fun! I want them to discover the joy of a well-written paper and the hidden treasures of great literature......just like you have shown me.
You are hilarious, witty, smart, and totally loving. You know the right moments to tease me, and the right moments to back off. You understand when I am truly confused, and you never embarrass or belittle me.....you just give me a hug and assure me that it will all be okay.
When I have off days where nothing is clicking and my head is all a jumble, you understand and don't try to confuse me.
And so, I admire you for being such a fabulous, understanding, wonderful teacher and mentor. I'm so thankful that God has put a woman like you in my life.

*gah* I know how you feel.
This past december was 3 years since I got my braces on... and they were supposed to be taken off. But there have been some complications... the dentest has messed up a multitude of times and each time made us start over. Now he did something to wear one side of jaw is different then the other. And there's nothing he can do to fix it. So my braces are currently doing NOTHING. Unitl I go for a surgery consoltation in April. To have surgery in the Summer. To re-do braces all fall... and hopefully get them off in 2012. If it wasn't free... I swear. I wouldn't be putting up with this. :/
