Uh, yeah, I had no idea how hard this challenge would be!!!! Having to choose all these favorites......it's really hurting me.
I have so many bands that I love: Stellar Kart, Newsboys, Relient K......but there is one band above all others.
Day Four: A favorite band
My first experience with Tenth Avenue North was about two years ago, in spring of 2009. I was in our car, listening to the Christian radio station when a new song came on. For the first few lyrics, I thought the band might be Switchfoot {what? I was still new to the whole Christian-music thing!}, but then the DJ came on and said it was called By Your Side, by a band named Tenth Avenue North.
I had no idea that God would use this band and their songs to strengthen my faith.
This post describes the time that I felt so alone, like God had left me. Then He sent me that song....and I was forever changed.

Oooh yes! And hmm. Not to be creepy or anything (hehee) but (if it's okay for me to ask, that is) where are you going to see them at?? Because I'm going with my aunt next month to see them with Third Day!! Ha!!! You wouldn't be going to the concert at Geneva, would you? Because I would find that kinda hilarious ;P
Okay so the new header is aahhmmazing. I am so proud of you. Very nice. <3 :) Just your whole blog is one of MY VERY favorites (out of probably 300...) You make me smile so much! I always leave encouraged!! Anyway - I love this band.. haha - duh we both posted on the same peeps :P But they are really encouraging.. their songs have met me right where I have been at in my Christian walk! God has used them in so many countless ways which I am truly thankful for! Thank you for posting this Lily.. love ya :)
ahhh I just absolutely LOVE Tenth Avenue North! They are one of THE best bands out there :] their lyrics are so encouraging and beautiful. I love Mike's quotes :) and I've yet to see them in concert... really want to!
