I love this verse I found in Matthew today:

All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. (Matthew 11)

Quite interesting, isn't it? No human truly knows God unless Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to work in our hearts. Another verse goes quite well with this one:

Jesus said--I am the Way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14)

These verses go hand in hand: Both say that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ. If we don't accept him first, we can't get to God.
