I've often wondered what I would do when I 'grow up.'
When I was really little, I wanted to be a vet. After all, I love animals! But then I realized being a vet involves surgeries, blood, guts, and.....putting animals down. So that dream faded.
Then I wanted to be a missionary. Imagine, going to a far-off country and bringing people to God! But I didn't really want to learn any crazy languages, nor go somewhere far-away from civilization.
More recently, I've had a dream of being a teacher at a private or Christian school. I love kids, and love teaching, so I've become very interested in education.
But what does God want me to do with my life?
I wasn't really sure, until about a month ago.
I was at church, and I picked up a flyer. The advertisement read like this: TEACHERS NEEDED FOR INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IN AFRICA.
I was intrigued, so I picked it up. Upon further examination, I saw that this job combined two of my dreams: Being a missionary and teaching!
I've since then pinned the flyer on my bulletin board, and I see it every night and every morning. Could this be what God wants me to do? Be a missionary and a teacher, all at the same time?
I still have quite a while before I find out, I suppose. Until then, I'll just have to keep learning and trusting in God.

You would be great at both but your mom (and grandma) might not let you go away!
lol, thanks Mrs. Scott. ;) I'll have to convince them, somehow.
