Truthfulness and Stealing

Gymnastics night again!
Our little class went well......only two little girls. They were well behaved and tried really hard.

But then the trouble started after class.

I was standing in the lobby at the gym. I was looking for the phone, since Coach Mike had asked me to answer any incoming calls. I was walking back and forth, looking for it. I noticed this kid (he's in the high school class) was just standing by the cooler, kind of pacing back and forth. I walked out of the lobby for just a minute, then came back. The guy was walking towards me. In one of his hands, I noticed a full M&M bag. It was the way he was keeping it close to himself, like he didn't want anyone to see it, that got my attention. In a split second, I recalled that in the cooler Coach Mike had placed some candy bars and other candy. I turned back around. The guy was putting the bag in his shoe. I looked at him, then said, "Did you pay for that?" He looked up at me and was like, "Uh, yeah." I shrugged and said, "Okay, just checking." Then I walked away.
It's been bothering me now for a while. When I bought my own drink, I placed a dollar in the money box. It was the only one in the box. I just checked the money box, and there is still one dollar in the box. This guy stole candy from the gym, and then lied straight to my face. And I know he didn't get it from the vending machine because I was only gone for like 10 seconds and I didn't hear the machine start to work.

Do you know how mad that makes me?

There's nothing I can really do; Coach Faith and Coach Mike have both gone home for the evening. But I'm going to keep a close eye on this kid, and warn Coach Mike about him. Next time he tries to steal something....................he's going to seriously regret it.
