Today started out like most Wednesdays: Chilly, cloudy, and rainy. But it has gotten nice and sunny......just as the sun is going down. =D
Well, that's just how it goes sometimes. At least classes went well!
Biology, comp, and public speaking are the classes I take at my co-op. I laugh sooooooo much on Wednesdays. In biology, it's generally Lance, Robert, or Josh that make me and Emily laugh. Then in comp, Emily and Josh crack me up. In public speaking, we all make each other laugh. By the end of the day, my cheeks hurt from so much laughing.
Of course, we're learning too. But sometimes the learning takes a back row seat to the laughter and fun we have. Man, I'm going to miss all these guys when summer comes!
Only four weeks of classes left! This school year has been crazy: The first quarter went by fast, but the second one dragged by. I was a little preoccupied that quarter: my grandmother died. That quarter seemed really long. Then things picked up back again in the third quarter. Now here we are in the fourth, finishing up all the schoolwork for this year. I've made so many good friends this year, and strengthened bonds with old ones.
The nice thing about homeschooling co-ops is that you meet kids from all different ages and grades. In public speaking, we have a seventh grader and two seniors. The diversity is just amazing. And it gives me the opportunity to make some really cool friendships.
Now, I'm getting ready to leave for soccer practice. We don't usually have practice this late, but they rigged up temporary lights at our practice field so we can practice after dark. It's very interesting, but the shadows get in the way.
Well, almost time to leave. see ya!
